Rock Climbing

Rock climbing is ultimately a confidence builder. Southern Utah’s broad sandstone cliffs, granite spires and limestone faces make it one of the world’s top rock climbing destinations, with an endless variety of routes to suit beginner and expert alike. Rock climbing gives students tangible problems to solve. It is physically and mentally demanding, an activity that builds strength, endurance and focus.

Expedition Therapy offers students the opportunity to expand their climbing knowledge and skills in lead climbing (both sport and traditional styles) and multi-pitch climbing, led by an American Mountain Guide Association Certified Rock Guide. We are excited to offer this advanced level of climbing expertise, which builds confidence, trust in others, and most importantly trust in oneself. Figuring out a climbing route or deciding the next move requires patience and an ability to step back and assess a situation. By reaching the top, students redefine what is possible.
